Role & Responsibilities

- Manage and supervise day-to-day production activities at our manufacturing facility.

- Read and understand engineering drawings, fabrication drawings and project requirements and convert them into practical production plans.

- Prepare/review BOM requirements, estimate material requirements and plan the manufacturing process based on drawings.

- Estimate manpower requirements and realistic production timelines for completing manufacturing and fabrication jobs.

- Prepare production plans and schedules based on project priorities, customer requirements and delivery commitments.

- Allocate work to supervisors, technicians and workers and monitor production progress.

- Supervise fabrication and manufacturing activities including cutting, bending, welding, rolling, grinding, assembly and finishing.

- Ensure production is carried out as per approved drawings, specifications, BOMs and quality requirements.

- Coordinate with Design, Projects, Purchase, Stores and Quality teams for smooth production.

- Ensure required raw materials, consumables, tools and other resources are available on time.

- Monitor material utilization, wastage and rework and take corrective action.

- Identify production bottlenecks, delays, material shortages and process issues and implement corrective measures.

- Monitor production progress and ensure timely completion of jobs.

- Coordinate with Quality to ensure inspection requirements are followed and non-conformities are addressed.

- Maintain daily production reports, production plans, manpower reports and other required MIS.

- Ensure proper use and maintenance of machines, tools and equipment.

- Train and guide production staff, supervisors, technicians and workers.

- Ensure compliance with safety procedures and maintain a safe working environment.

- Work closely with management to achieve production, quality,



cost and delivery targets.

Preferred Candidate Profile

- 813 years of experience in Production Management, Industrial Equipment Manufacturing, Machinery Manufacturing, Fabrication or Project-Based Manufacturing.

- Strong hands-on experience in fabrication, manufacturing and assembly operations.

- Must be capable of independently reading and understanding engineering/fabrication drawings.

- Ability to prepare/review BOMs and estimate material requirements.

- Ability to estimate manpower requirements and production completion timelines.

- Valuable knowledge of cutting, bending, welding, grinding, fabrication and assembly processes.

- Good knowledge of Mild Steel (MS) and Stainless Steel (SS) standards, grades and specifications.

- Working knowledge of commonly used SS grades such as SS 304, SS 304L, SS 316 and SS 316L, along with relevant MS grades.

- Ability to identify and interpret material grade, thickness, size and specifications from drawings and BOMs.

- Experience managing production teams, supervisors, technicians and shop-floor workers.

- Experience in production planning and scheduling.

- Valuable understanding of BOM, material planning and manufacturing processes.

- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.

- Good communication and team-management skills.

- Proficiency in MS Excel and production reporting.

- Experience in industrial equipment/machinery manufacturing will be preferred.

- Candidates willing to work at Shadnagar, Telangana are preferred.
