About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Production Manager to manage and drive production operations for our client's lithium battery manufacturing facility in Ahmedabad.

The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in manufacturing/assembly of prismatic LFP battery packs and a robust understanding of production processes, quality, productivity and shop-floor management.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage day-to-day production and achieve planned production targets.
- Handle prismatic cell battery pack assembly and manufacturing processes.
- Plan manpower, machines, materials and production schedules.
- Monitor production efficiency,



productivity, rejection and rework.
- Ensure adherence to quality, safety and SOPs across the production floor.
- Identify production bottlenecks and implement corrective actions.
- Coordinate with Quality, Maintenance, Stores, Purchase and Engineering teams.
- Drive continuous improvement, 5S and process optimisation.
- Maintain production MIS, reports and relevant documentation.
- Train and develop production operators and supervisors.
- Ensure smooth commissioning and scaling-up of production lines where required.

Candidate Profile

- Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, Production or related discipline.
- 5–10 years of relevant production experience, preferably in lithium-ion battery manufacturing.
- Mandatory: Experience with prismatic LFP battery cells / battery pack assembly.
- Strong knowledge of battery assembly processes, production planning and shop-floor operations.
- Experience in handling production teams and achieving daily/monthly targets.
- Good problem-solving, coordination and leadership skills.
- Candidates currently working in Li-ion battery / energy storage / EV battery manufacturing will be preferred.
