We are looking for an experienced Production Incharge to manage and oversee the complete production process for sports accessories and equipment. The role will be responsible for production planning, vendor coordination, manpower management, quality control, material availability, production tracking, and timely completion of orders.

The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in manufacturing and should be comfortable managing both in-house and outsourced production of sports accessories.

Key ResponsibilitiesProduction Planning & Execution

- Plan and manage daily, weekly, and monthly production of sports accessories as per order requirements and delivery timelines.
- Prepare production plans based on customer orders, stock requirements, available manpower, materials, and production capacity.
- Monitor production from raw material to finished goods and ensure timely completion.
- Allocate production activities to workers, supervisors, and production vendors.
- Track production quantities against planned targets and take corrective action in case of delays.
- Ensure production priorities are communicated clearly to the concerned teams.
- Coordinate with the warehouse, purchase, sales, and operations teams to ensure smooth production flow.

Sports Accessories Production
- Oversee production of products such as arm guards, thigh guards, leg guards, helmets, bags, sports accessories, protective equipment, and other sports goods.
- Ensure products are manufactured according to approved samples, specifications, measurements, materials, and construction requirements.
- Coordinate with product development and sampling teams for new product development and production requirements.
- Ensure consistency between approved samples and bulk production.
- Monitor production processes such as cutting, stitching, assembly, moulding, padding, finishing, printing, packing, and other relevant processes depending on the product.

Vendor & Outsourced Production Management
- Coordinate with outsourced manufacturers and job-work vendors for production requirements.
- Share production specifications, quantities, timelines, and approved samples with vendors.
- Regularly follow up with vendors to monitor production progress and delivery schedules.




- Conduct or coordinate vendor visits to monitor production and quality when required.
- Identify production delays, capacity issues, and quality concerns and ensure timely resolution.
- Maintain vendor-wise production records and performance tracking.
- Ensure outsourced products are delivered as per agreed quality and timelines.

Quality Control
- Ensure quality checks are carried out at different stages of production.
- Inspect finished and semi-finished products for stitching, dimensions, materials, construction, finishing, functionality, and overall workmanship.
- Ensure production is carried out strictly as per approved samples and specifications.
- Identify recurring defects and implement corrective measures.
- Coordinate with the Quality team for inspection and resolution of rejected or defective products.
- Ensure defective products are segregated and reworked/replaced where required.

Material & Inventory Coordination
- Coordinate with the Purchase and Warehouse teams to ensure timely availability of raw materials and components.
- Monitor material consumption and identify shortages that may affect production.
- Ensure proper utilisation of materials and minimise wastage.
- Track raw materials, semi-finished goods, work-in-progress, and finished goods.
- Ensure production materials are properly recorded and issued against production requirements.

Manpower Management
- Manage production workers, supervisors, helpers, and other personnel involved in accessory production.
- Allocate manpower according to production requirements and workload.
- Monitor attendance, productivity, and performance of production staff.
- Train workers on production processes, quality requirements, and product specifications.
- Identify manpower requirements and communicate hiring or additional resource requirements to management.

Production MIS & Reporting




- Maintain daily production reports covering planned quantity, actual production, pending quantity, rejection/rework, and dispatch status.
- Prepare daily/weekly/monthly production MIS.
- Track production efficiency and vendor performance.
- Maintain product-wise and vendor-wise production records.
- Highlight production delays, material shortages, quality issues, and other operational challenges to management.
- Maintain accurate production data in Excel/ERP systems.

Required Skills & Qualifications
- Graduate/Diploma in Production, Manufacturing, Mechanical, Textile, Garment Technology, or a related field.
- 3–6 years of experience in production/manufacturing, preferably in sports goods or accessories.
- Strong experience in managing sports accessory production will be preferred.
- Experience handling both in-house and outsourced production.
- Good understanding of manufacturing processes, stitching, assembly, finishing, and product quality.
- Strong production planning and manpower management skills.
- Positive vendor coordination and negotiation skills.
- Good MS Excel skills for production planning and MIS.
- Strong problem-solving and follow-up skills.
- Ability to manage multiple products and production timelines simultaneously.
- Willingness to travel to vendor/manufacturing locations when required.

Preferred Experience Candidates with experience in manufacturing or production of cricket equipment, protective sports equipment, sports bags, gloves, guards, helmets, sports accessories, or other sporting goods will be preferred.

Experience working with job-work vendors, contract manufacturers, and outsourced production units will be an added advantage.
