Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced and result-oriented Production Head to oversee the complete manufacturing operations of the organization. The candidate will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and controlling the production process to ensure timely delivery, optimum utilization of resources, consistent product quality, and achievement of production targets.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage and oversee the complete production and manufacturing operations.

- Develop and implement production plans based on orders, capacity, and delivery schedules.

- Ensure production targets are achieved within the planned timelines.

- Monitor production processes and improve productivity and operational efficiency.

- Manage manpower, machinery, materials, and other production resources effectively.

- Coordinate with the Design, Purchase, Quality, Stores, Maintenance, and Dispatch teams for smooth production operations.

- Ensure products are manufactured according to approved designs, specifications, and quality standards.

- Identify production bottlenecks and implement corrective and preventive measures.

- Monitor raw material consumption and minimize material wastage.

- Ensure proper maintenance and effective utilization of machinery and equipment.

- Establish and monitor production KPIs, productivity targets, and performance standards.

- Lead, train, and manage the production team, supervisors, and workers.

- Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards,



and manufacturing procedures.

- Maintain production reports, MIS, and other operational records.

- Conduct regular production meetings and review daily/weekly/monthly performance.

- Work towards reducing production costs while maintaining quality standards.

- Implement process improvements, lean manufacturing practices, and cost-saving initiatives wherever applicable.

- Ensure timely completion of production orders as per customer requirements.

- Resolve operational issues and coordinate with management for strategic production decisions.

Candidate Requirements

- Bachelor's/Diploma degree in Production, Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field.

- 6–10 years of relevant experience in production/manufacturing operations.

- Experience in the furniture, modular furniture, interior, woodworking, or related manufacturing industry will be preferred.

- Strong knowledge of production planning, manpower management, quality control, and process optimization.

- Good understanding of manufacturing machinery, production processes, and material management.

- Strong leadership and team-management skills.

- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.

- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple production priorities.

- Strong communication and coordination skills.

- Proficiency in MS Excel and production/MIS reporting.

Pay: ₹50,000.00 - ₹85,000.00 per month
