Role Description The Production Engineer will work full time in office at the Ahmedabad facility, overseeing daily manufacturing activities for automation instruments.

Responsibilities include planning and monitoring production schedules, coordinating with design, procurement, and quality teams, and ensuring that production targets are met with consistent quality and minimal downtime. The role involves optimizing manufacturing processes, troubleshooting equipment and workflow issues, implementing process improvements, and maintaining compliance with safety and quality standards.

The Production

Engineer will prepare production reports, support root-cause analysis for defects or delays, and assist in training production staff on new procedures or equipment.



Collaboration with cross-functional teams to support new product introductions and continuous improvement initiatives is a key part of the role.

Qualifications

- Strong foundation in production and manufacturing engineering, including process planning, workflow optimization, and basic industrial automation concepts.
- Knowledge of quality control methods, including inspection techniques, defect analysis, and implementation of corrective and preventive actions.
- Proficiency in using production-related software and tools (e.g., basic CAD for understanding drawings, ERP or manufacturing planning systems) and preparing technical documentation.
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings, technical specifications, and bills of materials relevant to automation instruments.
- Good analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to respond quickly to production issues and propose practical solutions.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills for working with production staff, engineers, suppliers, and management.
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Production Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience in an industrial manufacturing environment, preferably in automation, instrumentation, or precision engineering, is advantageous.
- Familiarity with workplace safety standards and practices and commitment to maintaining a safe production environment.
