Production Engineer for Production Troubleshooting The Production Engineer is responsible for planning, directing, and optimizing manufacturing operational activities to achieve target production volumes, quality standards, and delivery schedules. This role focuses on continuous line efficiency, cycle time reduction, waste minimization, and seamless shop floor execution while maintaining strict adherence to plant safety and operational protocols.

Key Duties Oversee daily shop floor operations to ensure shift production targets, Overall Equipment Effectiveness /(OEE/), and output metrics are consistently met. Monitor product quality during manufacturing, collaborating with Quality and Maintenance teams to immediately address defect trends and line downtime.

Apply Lean

Manufacturing tools /(5S, Kaizen, Value Stream Mapping, SMED/) to streamline workflows,



eliminate bottlenecks, and optimize cycle times. Prepare and update standard operating procedures /(SOPs/), work instructions, and routing sheets for assembly and processing lines. Manage line balancing, material flow, and manpower deployment to optimize productivity and labor utilization.

Perform root cause analysis /(RCA/) on production losses, yield drops, and non/-conformances to implement corrective actions.
