We are looking for an experienced UG Product Manager / Specialist with strong exposure to Underground Mining Operations.
This role is ideal for a mining professional who understands the practical challenges of underground mines and can leverage that knowledge to support product development, application engineering, customer engagement, and business growth.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop strong technical and application knowledge of the assigned Underground Mining product portfolio.
- Understand underground mining methods, operational requirements and site challenges to identify suitable product applications.
- Interact with mine management, mining engineers, production, maintenance and technical teams to understand customer requirements.
- Provide product and application support to the sales and business development team.
- Recommend suitable products and solutions based on actual underground mining conditions and applications.
- Coordinate with international OEMs, technical teams and internal stakeholders on product selection, customization, trials and technical solutions.
- Support customer meetings, product presentations, technical discussions, tenders and techno-commercial proposals.
- Conduct regular visits to underground mines for application studies, product trials, troubleshooting and customer feedback.
- Identify new product opportunities based on evolving underground mining requirements.
- Track competitor products,
market developments, technologies and customer expectations.
- Support the commercial team in developing new business opportunities and strengthening key customer relationships.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE The candidate should have 10–15 years of relevant Underground Mining Operations experience, preferably with exposure to:
Hands-on experience with underground mining equipment, systems and applications will be an added advantage.

Professionals currently working, or having worked, in positions such as:
Mining Engineer | Underground Mine Engineer | Operations Manager | Production Manager | Technical Services Manager | Maintenance Manager | Mine Planning / Operations Specialist who have a strong understanding of underground mining practices and are interested in moving into a Product Manager / Product Specialist role.
