We are looking for an experienced Product Manager – Clinical Microbiology to manage and develop the clinical microbiology product portfolio. The candidate will work closely with customers, sales teams, suppliers, and internal stakeholders to support product positioning, technical applications, product training, and business growth.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage and develop the assigned Clinical Microbiology product portfolio.
- Develop strong technical understanding of microbiology instruments, reagents, consumables, and laboratory solutions.
- Provide technical and application support to the sales team and customers.
- Conduct product presentations, demonstrations, training sessions, and technical discussions.
- Understand customer requirements and recommend appropriate microbiology solutions.
- Support the sales team in identifying new opportunities and converting technical enquiries into business opportunities.
- Coordinate with international suppliers/manufacturers regarding product information, technical queries, quotations, and customer requirements.
- Prepare product literature, presentations, technical documents, comparison sheets, and application-related content.
- Monitor competitor products, market trends, pricing, and developments in clinical microbiology.
- Support product launches, marketing campaigns,



exhibitions, seminars, workshops, and customer events.
- Collect market feedback and communicate customer requirements to suppliers and internal teams.
- Assist in developing product strategies, sales tools, and go-to-market activities.
- Track product performance and support the achievement of business objectives.

Desired Candidate Profile
- 3–5 years of experience in Clinical Microbiology, Diagnostics, Product Management, Applications, or a related Life Sciences field.
- Strong understanding of clinical microbiology workflows and laboratory applications.
- Experience with microbiology instruments, reagents, consumables, or diagnostic solutions.
- Experience in product management or technical/application support will be preferred.
- Strong presentation, communication, and technical documentation skills.
- Ability to interact effectively with microbiologists, laboratory professionals, hospitals, diagnostic laboratories, and sales teams.
- Positive understanding of the clinical diagnostics market and competitor landscape.
- Willingness to travel for customer visits, product demonstrations, exhibitions, and training programs.

EducationM.Sc. / M.Tech. / equivalent qualification in Microbiology, Biotechnology, Life Sciences, or a related discipline.
