About Certinal:

Certinal is a unified Consent & Compliance Platform that replaces paper-based consent, manual intake, and uncontrolled forms with a single, fully digital system built for enterprise organizations. It digitally captures patient consent, enables legally binding electronic signatures, and ensures compliance with major regulations including HIPAA, 21 CFR Part 11, SOC 2 Type II, and CMS-0053-F, while integrating directly with EHR systems like Epic and Oracle Cerner.

Role Overview:

We are looking for an AI-native Product Management Intern who is curious, analytical, and highly execution-oriented. You should be someone who naturally uses AI tools to research faster, analyze problems, prototype ideas, automate repetitive work, and improve your own productivity. You will work closely with the Product, Engineering, Design, Sales, and Customer teams and contribute directly to live product initiatives.

This is not an internship where you will only take notes or maintain trackers. You will be expected to understand problems, work with users and internal teams, use AI aggressively, and help move product initiatives from idea to execution.

Key Responsibilities:

- Work with Product Managers to identify, define, and prioritize product problems.
- Speak with customers and internal teams to understand requirements and pain points.
- Conduct market, competitor, user, and product research using AI-assisted workflows.
- Convert business requirements into transparent user stories, workflows, and product requirements.
- Use tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Cursor, Lovable, Replit, v0 or similar AI tools to research, prototype, analyse, and execute faster.
- Build quick prototypes, mockups, workflows, or proof-of-concepts to validate ideas.
- Work closely with Engineering and Design teams during product development.
- Test new features and identify product gaps,



usability issues, and edge cases.
- Analyse product usage, customer feedback, and other data to identify improvement opportunities.
- Evaluate new AI capabilities, models, APIs, and tools that can be incorporated into Certinal products.
- Help improve internal product processes through automation and AI.

What We Are Looking For:

- Current student or recent graduate in Engineering, Computer Science, Product, Business, or a related field.
- AI-native mindset — you should already be using AI tools extensively in your day-to-day work.
- Strong ability to break ambiguous problems into structured solutions.
- Comfortable understanding APIs, integrations, workflows, databases, and basic technical concepts.
- Ability to create quick prototypes independently using AI/no-code/low-code tools.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- High ownership and willingness to figure things out independently.
- Strong attention to detail and bias toward execution.
- Comfortable working in a fast-moving startup environment.

What Will Make You Stand Out:

- You have built products, apps, automations, agents, or side projects using AI.
- You use AI for significantly more than just writing or summarization.
- Experience with tools such as Cursor, Lovable, Replit, v0, Figma, Postman, SQL, Zapier, Make or n8n .
- Understanding of LLMs, APIs, RAG, AI agents, prompt engineering, or workflow automation.
- Previous startup, product, engineering, or SaaS internship experience.
- A portfolio, GitHub profile, live product, prototype, or side project you can demonstrate.
