Key Responsibilities

1. Design & Engineering

· Understand customer/project requirements and engineering specifications.

· Assist in developing 2D/3D designs and manufacturing drawings.

· Support preparation and updating of Bill of Materials (BOM).

· Understand engineering drawings, dimensions, tolerances and material specifications.

· Coordinate with the Design Team for design modifications and revisions.

· Ensure designs are practical and suitable for manufacturing and assembly.

· Support design validation before releasing drawings for production.

2. Production Planning & Coordination

· Assist with production planning based on project requirements.

· Coordinate with Manufacturing teams for execution of planned activities.

· Monitor production progress against planned schedules.

· Follow up on material availability, machining and fabrication requirements.

· Track pending activities and highlight delays to the concerned team.

· Maintain production-related trackers and documentation.

3. Manufacturing

· Gain hands-on exposure to machining, fabrication and manufacturing processes.

· Understand manufacturing methods and process requirements.

· Coordinate with machine operators and manufacturing personnel.

· Monitor work according to approved drawings and specifications.

· Understand tolerances, fitment requirements and quality expectations.

· Identify manufacturing issues and coordinate for resolution.

· Support root-cause identification for manufacturing-related issues.

4. Assembly & Integration

· Support assembly and integration of engineering products and automation systems.





· Understand assembly drawings and component requirements.

· Coordinate with the assembly team for proper fitment and installation.

· Verify components against BOM and approved drawings.

· Support testing and validation of assembled products.

· Identify and report assembly-related issues.

5. Installation & Project Support

· Assist the Project/Service Team during installation and commissioning activities.

· Understand practical application of products and automation systems.

· Support troubleshooting and rectification of technical issues.

· Coordinate with internal teams for timely project completion.

· Gain practical exposure to customer-site requirements wherever applicable.

Skills & Competencies

Technical Skills

· Basic knowledge of Mechanical/Production Engineering concepts.

· Ability to read and understand engineering drawings.

· Basic knowledge of AutoCAD / SolidWorks will be an advantage.

· Understanding of manufacturing and machining processes.

· Basic knowledge of materials, tolerances and measurements.

· Good MS Office skills.

Educational Qualification

· B.E./B.Tech – Mechanical Engineering / Production Engineering / Mechatronics / related engineering discipline.

· Freshers are encouraged to apply.

· Candidates with relevant internship/project experience will be preferred.

Working Details

· Location: Thirumudivakkam, Chennai

· Working Hours: 8:30 AM – 6:00 PM

· Working Days: Monday – Saturday

· Weekly Off: Sundays + 2nd & 4th Saturdays

· Joining: Immediate Joiners Preferred

· Internship: Internship opportunity available

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹18,000.00 per month
