Role Description The Product Development Engineer will work full time on-site at the Vijapur facility, collaborating closely with production, quality, and sales teams. Day-to-day responsibilities include designing and developing new chaff cutter components and products, improving existing designs for performance, safety, and cost efficiency, and supporting the transition from prototype to manufacturing. The role involves conducting research and development activities, performing mechanical and performance analysis, and preparing technical documentation and specifications.





The engineer will also assist in resolving product-related issues, participate in testing and validation, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives aligned with customer needs and market trends.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong Mechanical Engineering and Product Development skills, with experience in agricultural or industrial machinery preferred.
- Candidates should possess Product Design and Research and Development (R&D;) skills, including familiarity with CAD tools (SOLIDWORKS) and prototype testing.
- Candidates should possess Analytical Skills for problem-solving, performance optimization, and data-driven decision-making.
- Relevant skills such as knowledge of manufacturing processes, material selection, and quality standards will be beneficial.
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, B.Tech in Agricultural Engineering or a related field is preferred, with prior experience in product development or R&D; considered an advantage.
- Ability to work on-site in Vijapur, collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, and communicate clearly in technical and non-technical contexts.
