The Role

We are looking for a hands-on Design Engineer to drive component and assembly design changes that lower material and labor costs, improve product quality, and strengthen production performance. You'll own design-change projects from scoping through implementation, working closely with cross-functional teams.

What You will Do

- Find ways to reduce material cost, labor, and production inefficiencies through smarter design
- Scope, develop, analyze, and evaluate production design-change projects end to end
- Coordinate pre-production activities and secure project approvals
- Use field-service data to trace quality issues to their root cause and fix them
- Implement BOM changes, drawing revisions, new part drawings, and new model numbers
- Partner with cross-functional teams to deliver design changes and hit cost-reduction targets




- Build and run test plans for new products and modifications
- Get new parts and product changes approved through established procedures
- Troubleshoot and resolve production-line issues
- Build deep product-line expertise and support other teams with engineering know-how

What We are Looking For

- 3+ years in mechanical design, product design, or design engineering
- Solid grasp of mechanical design, production processes, and engineering drawings
- Experience with design changes, BOMs, manufacturing drawings, and product modifications
- Strong analytical and root-cause problem-solving skills
- Clear written and verbal communication
- Strong time management and organization, with the ability to juggle priorities and decide quickly
- A self-starter with ownership, leadership, and a hands-on approach
- Flexibility to go beyond standard hours when the business needs it

Nice to Have

- Experience with pressure, valve, or fluid control
- Knowledge of the Food & Beverage industry
