The Product Audit Supervisor will play a crucial role in ensuring the highest standards of product quality for Daimler India Commercial Vehicles. They will lead a team of auditors, coordinating with various departments to implement and follow the audit plan. This role is integral to the company's quality improvement initiatives, focusing on trucks, buses, and chassis.

- Supervise and lead a team of product auditors, providing guidance and support.
- Develop and implement an effective audit plan, ensuring coverage of all critical areas.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams (CFT) to review audit results and insights.
- Encourage and motivate DA to conduct positive audits and identify areas for improvement (Kaizens).
- Engage in product quality improvement drives, implementing best practices and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Analyze audit data and provide regular reports to the L5, highlighting areas of concern and success.
- Collaborate with engineering and design teams to address any design-related quality issues.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations, keeping up-to-date with the latest quality requirements.
- Mentor and train new auditors, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.




- Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in product auditing and quality management.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, preferably in Mechanical or Automotive Engineering.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in product auditing or quality control, with a focus on commercial vehicles.
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a diverse team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Proficiency in using auditing tools and software, and a valuable understanding of data analysis techniques.
- Knowledge of industry standards and regulations related to commercial vehicle manufacturing.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and prioritize effectively.
- Analytical mindset with a problem-solving approach to identify and resolve quality issues.
- Willingness to travel for audit assignments and quality improvement initiatives.
- Fluency in English and Hindi, with the ability to communicate effectively with a diverse workforce.
