. Key Responsibilities
- Own the complete procurement and contracting cycle for corporate interior and Design & Build projects, from tender receipt through vendor finalisation, PO/WO and contract closure.
- Review tender packages, scope documents, drawings, specifications, BOQs, schedules, client requirements and commercial/contractual conditions in detail.
- Review and interpret technical BOQs as well as price/commercial BOQs, identify missing scope, duplication, exclusions, ambiguities and commercial risks.
- Understand and review client contracts, work orders, purchase orders, special conditions, general conditions, liquidated damages, retention, payment terms, warranties, defect liability, insurance, escalation, variation and termination clauses.
- Assess whether contract clauses,
commercial conditions and obligations are appropriate and broadly aligned with market practice; flag unusual, onerous or commercially risky provisions for management review.
- Prepare procurement strategies and package-wise procurement plans for interior, civil, MEP and specialist works.
- Divide project scope into appropriate trade/vendor packages such as civil/interiors, partitions, ceilings, flooring, furniture, electrical, HVAC, fire & life safety, ELV, plumbing, BMS, AV/IT-related infrastructure and other specialist packages as applicable.
