About the Role

Ciara Homes is looking for an experienced Procurement Manager to manage the end-to-end procurement of construction materials, products, and services for our residential construction projects.

The ideal candidate should have at least 2 years of experience as a Civil Engineer or Procurement professional, preferably in the construction industry, with good knowledge of construction materials, vendors, pricing, and site requirements.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage end-to-end procurement activities for ongoing construction projects.
- Source and evaluate reliable suppliers and vendors for construction materials.
- Obtain and compare quotations from multiple vendors.
- Negotiate prices, payment terms, delivery schedules, and commercial conditions.
- Purchase materials based on project requirements, specifications, and approved budgets.
- Coordinate with Project Managers, Site Engineers, Architects, and Accounts teams to understand material requirements.
- Ensure timely delivery of materials to project sites.
- Track purchase orders, material deliveries, invoices, and pending requirements.
- Maintain proper procurement records and documentation.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with vendors and suppliers.
- Identify new vendors and alternative suppliers when required.
- Monitor market prices of major construction materials.
- Ensure materials meet the required quality and specifications.
- Coordinate with site teams to avoid material shortages and project delays.
- Verify vendor quotations and ensure commercial accuracy.
- Assist management in controlling procurement costs and optimizing project budgets.
- Handle procurement for materials such as cement, steel, blocks, sand, aggregates,



tiles, sanitaryware, electrical materials, plumbing materials, doors, windows, hardware, paints, and other construction-related products.
- Maintain vendor performance records and evaluate suppliers based on price, quality, and delivery.
- Coordinate with the accounts team regarding purchase bills and vendor payments.

Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Civil Engineer or Procurement Manager/Executive.
- Experience in construction procurement is preferred.
- Diploma/B.E./B.Tech in Civil Engineering or a related qualification is preferred.
- Good knowledge of construction materials and their applications.
- Strong vendor negotiation and communication skills.
- Good knowledge of MS Excel / Google Sheets.
- Ability to compare quotations and analyze pricing.
- Strong follow-up and coordination skills.
- Good understanding of purchase orders, quotations, invoices, and material requirements.
- Ability to work under deadlines and manage multiple project requirements simultaneously.
- Willingness to coordinate with construction sites and vendors regularly.
