Procurement Engineer – Electrical

Location: Tirunelveli, Tamil Nadu

Experience: 2+ Years

Qualification: Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Electrical Engineering

:

- Manage procurement of electrical materials, equipment, and components.
- Source and evaluate reliable vendors and suppliers.
- Obtain quotations, compare prices, negotiate terms, and place purchase orders.
- Coordinate with suppliers for timely delivery and quality compliance.
- Maintain purchase records, vendor details, and inventory requirements.
- Coordinate with project, site, and engineering teams to understand material requirements.
- Ensure materials are procured within approved budgets and timelines.
- Follow up on pending orders and resolve delivery or quality issues.

Required Skills:

- Strong knowledge of electrical materials and components.
- Positive vendor management and negotiation skills.
- Knowledge of procurement processes and documentation.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Electrical Engineering background is mandatory/preferred.
- Knowledge of MS Excel and ERP/procurement software is an advantage.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
