Desired Candidate Profile The ideal candidate should be a proactive and result-oriented procurement professional who can independently handle day-to-day procurement activities and effectively coordinate between vendors and project/site teams.

The candidate should have robust follow-up, negotiation, commercial and coordination skills and be capable of ensuring that project materials are available at the right quality, right price and right time without affecting project schedules.

2–5 years of relevant experience in procurement/purchase, preferably in a project-based engineering or EPC organisation.

Candidates with experience in project procurement, site procurement or engineering-material procurement will be preferred.

Project Procurement

- Handle end-to-end procurement activities for assigned projects.
- Study project requirements, BOQs, material requisitions, drawings and specifications.




- Coordinate with Project and Engineering teams to understand material requirements and delivery priorities.
- Prepare project-wise procurement schedules and track procurement status.
- Ensure timely procurement of critical and long-lead items.
- Follow up continuously on pending procurement requirements to avoid project delays.

Sourcing & Vendor Development

- Identify and develop reliable suppliers for project materials and services.
- Source materials from approved and new vendors as per project requirements.
- Obtain and evaluate quotations from multiple suppliers.
- Prepare comparative statements considering price, specifications, quality, delivery and commercial terms.
- Negotiate prices, payment terms, delivery schedules, warranty and other commercial conditions.
- Maintain and update the approved vendor/supplier database.
- Monitor vendor performance and address supply-related issues.

3. Engineering & Project Materials Experience or exposure in procurement of the following will be an advantage:

- Pipes and piping components
- Valves, flanges, fittings and gaskets
- Structural and fabrication materials
- Welding electrodes and welding consumables
- Orbital welding consumables and accessories
- Mechanical equipment and components




- Electrical materials and accessories
- Instrumentation items
- MEP-related materials
- Tools, tackles and safety equipment
- Fasteners and hardware
- Construction/project consumables
- Site office and project-specific requirements
- Project-related services and subcontracted works

4. Purchase Order & Commercial Activities

- Prepare RFQs, enquiry documents, comparative statements and purchase orders.
- Ensure purchase orders are released only against approved requirements.
- Verify technical specifications, quantities, rates and delivery schedules before PO release.
- Negotiate and obtain competitive commercial terms.
- Monitor purchase orders from placement to final delivery.
- Coordinate with Accounts regarding vendor advances, payments and invoice processing.
- Verify invoices against PO, delivery documents and material receipt records.

5. Material Delivery & Logistics Coordination

- Track material dispatch and delivery against committed dates.
- Coordinate with vendors and transporters for timely delivery to project sites.
- Monitor critical and delayed materials and escalate issues to the Procurement Manager / Project Manager.
- Coordinate with Stores/Site teams for material receipt and inspection.
- Ensure delivery challans, invoices, test certificates, material certificates and other required documents are received along with materials.
- Support urgent procurement requirements for project sites.

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
