Maharaja & Speedex India Limited is a vertically integrated manufacturer and marketer of stainless steel consumer products, headquartered in New Delhi with a heritage dating back to 2006. Over nearly two decades, the Company has evolved from a pure trading business into a manufacturing-led enterprise with a growing pan-India brand presence across retail, institutional, and digital channels.

The Company operates under two well-recognised consumer brands - Speedex and Dewdrop - and also undertakes OEM and private-label manufacturing for institutional and third-party clients. Its product portfolio spans everyday, premium, and lifestyle segments, reaching consumers through approximately 120 distributors spread across 17 States and 2 Union Territories, as well as major e-commerce and quick-commerce platforms.

POSITION SUMMARY The Process Engineering Manager is responsible for developing, improving, standardizing, and sustaining manufacturing processes to achieve targets for productivity, quality, cost, delivery, safety, and process capability. The role leads the process engineering team and drives continuous improvement, process optimization, new product/process introduction, and manufacturing excellence initiatives.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Process Development & Optimization

· Develop and optimize manufacturing processes, process parameters, work instructions, and process standards.

· Improve process capability, cycle time, yield, throughput, and overall equipment effectiveness (OEE).

· Identify and eliminate process losses, bottlenecks, waste, and non-value-added activities.

· Conduct process capability studies and establish robust process controls.

· Implement automation, tooling, fixtures, poka-yoke, and other productivity improvements.

2. New Product Introduction (NPI)

· Lead process engineering activities for new product development and industrialization.

· Review product designs for manufacturability (DFM/DFA).

· Develop process flow, PFMEA, control plans, work instructions, and process validation plans.

· Coordinate trials,



pilot production, process validation, and production ramp-up.

· Ensure smooth transfer of new products from development to mass production.

3. Continuous Improvement

· Lead Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, Six Sigma, TPM, and cost-reduction initiatives.

· Drive improvements in manpower productivity, material utilization, machine utilization, and energy consumption.

· Identify and execute projects that deliver measurable annualized savings.

· Establish and monitor key process engineering KPIs.

4. Quality & Process Control

· Work closely with Quality, Production, Maintenance, and R&D; teams to resolve process-related issues.

· Lead root-cause analysis using tools such as 5 Why, Fishbone, Pareto, SPC, DOE, and 8D.

· Reduce scrap, rework, customer complaints, and process variation.

· Ensure compliance with applicable quality management systems and customer requirements.

5. Equipment, Tooling & Automation

· Define technical requirements for current machinery, equipment, tooling, fixtures, and automation.

· Evaluate suppliers and support technical discussions, trials, FAT/SAT, installation, and commissioning.

· Improve machine reliability and process performance in coordination with Maintenance.

· Identify opportunities for Industry 4.0, digital manufacturing, robotics, and automation.

6. Cost & Productivity Management

· Develop and execute process cost-reduction plans.

· Establish standard cycle times, manpower requirements, machine capacities, and process costs.

· Support annual budgeting and capital expenditure (CAPEX) planning.

· Track project benefits and ensure sustainable implementation.

7. Team Leadership

· Lead, mentor,



and develop process engineers and technicians.

· Allocate resources according to project and plant priorities.

· Set performance objectives and conduct periodic performance reviews.

· Build a culture of problem-solving, ownership, innovation, and continuous improvement.

8. Cross-Functional Coordination

· Collaborate with Production, Quality, Maintenance, Supply Chain, R&D;, Tool Room, EHS, and Procurement.

· Participate in management reviews and operational improvement meetings.

· Provide technical support for customer audits, certification audits, and internal audits.

REQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICATIONS

- Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Mechanical / Production / Industrial / Manufacturing Engineering or related discipline.
- 7-10 years of manufacturing experience, with a significant portion in a Process Engineering leadership or managerial capacity.
- Prior experience with a Tier-1 automotive supplier to OEMs is essential. Exposure to sheet metal manufacturing, metal forming, or steel fabrication is strongly preferred.
- Proven track record of managing a Process Engineering team and achieving measurable improvements in OEE improvement, Cycle-time reduction, Process capability (Cp/Cpk), Scrap and rejection reduction, Productivity improvement, Cost savings / VA-VE savings, NPI project delivery, Process validation and first-pass yield, Downtime/process-loss reduction, CAPEX/project implementation performance, Customer complaints related to process, Safety and compliance performance.
- Highly organized approach with a strict commitment to the timeliness of all operations.
- Strong command of production planning tools, ERP systems, and high proficiency in MS Excel for daily reporting.
- Excellent leadership and conflict-resolution skills, with strong written and verbal communication in Hindi and English.

Other Details

Salary Range: ₹70,000 - ₹90,000 per month (Based on Interview Performance)

Work Mode: Onsite, 6 Days a Week
