Company Description Cellumantra Biorefinery Pvt. Ltd. is a DPIIT-recognized green biotechnology startup developing an enzymatic biorefinery platform to convert non-wood agricultural waste into industrial enzymes and advanced biomaterials. The company focuses on revenue-first enzyme production for sectors such as textiles and wastewater treatment, followed by high-margin cellulose nanofibers (CNF) for sustainable materials.

Its technology is optimized for Indian biomass, enabling cost-productive, scalable, and circular manufacturing. By valorizing farm waste, Cellumantra helps reduce stubble burning, lower import dependency, and support a more sustainable industrial ecosystem for India.

Role Description This is a full-time, remote role for pre-seed venture studio and fund-raising consulting at Cellumantra Biorefinery Pvt. Ltd. The consultant will support the founding team in refining the venture thesis, mapping the competitive landscape, and structuring the startup narrative for early-stage investors and venture studios for pre revenue innovative nation building project..

Day-to-day work includes identifying and prioritizing relevant funds, incubators, accelerators, and venture studios; preparing tailored pitch decks, one-pagers, and data rooms; and coordinating outreach campaigns, investor meetings, and follow-ups. The role also involves advising on financial models, dilution scenarios, and funding strategies, as well as synthesizing market and technical insights into clear, investor-friendly materials. The consultant will collaborate closely with leadership to track pipeline progress, maintain CRM records, and ensure timely execution of all pre-seed fundraising activities.

Qualifications





- Experience in early-stage fundraising, including pre-seed or seed rounds, with skills in investor outreach, pitch preparation, and funding strategy.
- Background in venture studios, accelerators, or incubators, with familiarity in structuring venture theses, portfolio narratives, and go-to-market plans.
- Strong financial analysis capabilities, including building or reviewing financial models, cap tables, and investment scenarios for deep-tech or climate-tech ventures.
- Ability to synthesize technical and market information into concise presentations, investment memos, and due diligence materials for both specialist and non-specialist audiences.
- Understanding of climate-tech, bioeconomy, or industrial biotech sectors; exposure to sustainability-focused funds or impact investing is an advantage.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate remotely across time zones and manage multiple investor conversations in parallel.
- Prior experience working with or advising startups in India or emerging markets is beneficial; familiarity with government schemes, grants, and innovation programs is a plus.
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in business, finance, engineering, biotechnology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience in startup fundraising.
