Job Location-Vasai East

Job Purpose

Responsible for planning, scheduling, monitoring, and controlling production activities for valves and fittings, ensuring timely completion of customer orders while maintaining optimum utilization of manpower, machines, materials, and production capacity.

Key Responsibilities

1. Production Planning

- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly production plans based on customer orders and dispatch requirements.
- Plan production for industrial valves and fittings considering material availability, machine capacity, routing, and delivery schedules.
- Prepare machine-wise and process-wise production schedules.
- Monitor production against planned quantities and delivery dates.
- Coordinate with Production, Purchase, Stores, Quality, and Dispatch departments.

1. Material Planning

- Check availability of raw materials such as:

Castings, Forging, Bars Plates Stainless steel / carbon steel / alloy steel materials Seals, gaskets, fasteners and other bought-out components
- Identify material shortages that may affect production.
- Coordinate with Purchase and Stores for timely availability of materials.
- Monitor WIP and finished-goods inventory.

1. Valve & Fittings Production Coordination

- Follow production processes such as:





Casting/Forging, CNC/VMC machining, Drilling, Turning, Grinding, Welding, Assembly Pressure testing, Painting/coating, Inspection, Packing
- Track production status at each stage.
- Ensure proper movement of components between processes.
- Monitor bottlenecks and take corrective action with the concerned departments.

1. Order & Delivery Control

- Review sales orders and delivery commitments.
- Prepare order-wise production schedules.
- Track pending orders and highlight delays.
- Coordinate with Dispatch for on-time delivery.
- Prioritize urgent/customer-critical orders based on management requirements.

1. ERP / Documentation

- Enter and maintain production planning data in ERP/MRP systems.
- Prepare:

Production plans ,Work orders ,Material requirement reports ,Daily production reports WIP reports ,Pending order reports ,Dispatch planning reports Maintain accurate production and inventory records.
1. Production Monitoring

- Compare planned vs. actual production.
- Analyze reasons for production delays, including:

Machine breakdown, Material shortage, Rejection/rework, Manpower shortage, Tooling issues, Quality hold, Capacity constraints




- Escalate critical issues to the PPC/Production Manager.

Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of PPC in valve and fittings manufacturing.
- Understanding of manufacturing processes and production routing.
- Good knowledge of BOM, routing, WIP, MRP and material planning.
- Knowledge of CNC/VMC and conventional machining processes is preferred.
- Good knowledge of MS Excel.
- ERP experience is preferred.
- Good coordination and follow-up skills.
- Ability to work under production and delivery deadlines.
- Positive analytical and problem-solving skills.

Educational Qualification Diploma / B.E. / B. Tech. in Mechanical Engineering or Production Engineering

Preferred Industry Experience

Candidates with experience specifically in:

Valves & Fittings Industry will be preferred.

- On-time production completion ,On-time delivery support ,Plan vs. actual production Machine utilization ,WIP control ,Material availability ,Production schedule adherence Reduction in production delays ,Inventory control

Candidate Profile We are looking for a PPC professional with hands-on experience in the valves and fittings manufacturing industry, who understands production processes, material flow, machining, assembly, testing, and delivery requirements and can effectively coordinate between Sales, Purchase, Stores, Production, Quality, and Dispatch.
