We are seeking a Powerplant Steel Structure Engineer with 5-8 years of experience to join our team in India. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the design and analysis of steel structures in power plants, ensuring safety and compliance with industry standards.
Responsibilities
- Design, analyze, and oversee the construction of steel structures for power plants.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations in all structural designs.
- Collaborate with engineers and project managers to develop project specifications and plans.
- Conduct site inspections to assess construction progress and adherence to design specifications.
- Prepare detailed reports and documentation related to structural integrity and performance.
Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related field.
- 5-8 years of experience in steel structure design and construction, preferably in the power industry.
- Proficiency in structural analysis software such as SAP2000, STAAD Pro, or similar tools.
- Strong understanding of relevant codes and standards (IS codes, Eurocodes, etc.).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team setting and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
