Job Summary:-

We are looking for an experienced iOS Developer with strong expertise in Swift and mobile application development to work on POQ Commerce-based e-commerce applications. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience building scalable iOS applications, integrating REST APIs, optimizing application performance, and developing key e-commerce features such as product browsing, shopping carts, checkout, and order management.

The candidate should have a strong understanding of iOS architecture, asynchronous programming, caching strategies, memory management, and app deployment processes.

Key Responsibilities:-

- Design, develop, and maintain iOS applications using Swift and the iOS SDK.
- Implement scalable application architecture using MVC, MVVM, and other appropriate design patterns.
- Develop and enhance e-commerce features, including product listing pages (PLP), product detail pages (PDP), shopping carts, checkout, and order tracking.
- Integrate REST APIs and backend services for product catalogs, pricing, inventory, cart synchronization, and order management.
- Implement checkout workflows that support multiple shipments and fulfillment options based on store inventory availability.
- Develop reusable networking layers in Swift to handle API requests, responses, error handling, authentication, and data serialization.
- Implement caching strategies for product data and images using URLCache, NSCache, and persistent storage where appropriate.
- Optimize image loading, memory consumption, scrolling performance, and overall application responsiveness.
- Investigate and resolve crashes, memory leaks, and performance bottlenecks using Instruments, Firebase Crashlytics, and other debugging tools.
- Implement asynchronous operations using Swift Concurrency (async/await),



Grand Central Dispatch (GCD), and OperationQueue as appropriate.
- Ensure reliable cart synchronization and product data persistence across app sessions and user interactions.
- Manage iOS application signing, certificates, provisioning profiles, and releases through TestFlight and the Apple App Store.
- Collaborate with backend developers, QA engineers, designers, and product teams to deliver high-quality e-commerce experiences.

Required Skills and Experience-

- 5–7 years of experience in iOS application development with strong hands-on expertise in Swift.
- Solid knowledge of iOS SDK, UIKit and/or SwiftUI, and iOS application lifecycle management.
- Experience implementing MVC and MVVM architecture and writing maintainable, testable code.
- Hands-on experience with REST API integration, JSON parsing, networking layers, and error handling.
- Experience developing e-commerce or retail mobile applications, preferably involving product catalogs, cart, checkout, inventory, and order management.
- Understanding of multi-shipment checkout flows and inventory-based fulfillment logic.
- Strong knowledge of caching mechanisms, including NSCache, URLCache, and persistent data storage.
- Experience optimizing product image loading, memory usage, and application performance.
- Experience debugging crashes, memory leaks, and performance issues using Xcode Instruments and crash-reporting tools such as Firebase Crashlytics.
- Strong understanding of asynchronous programming using Swift Concurrency (async/await), GCD, and OperationQueue.
- Experience managing local data persistence and cart synchronization with backend systems.
- Hands-on experience with Xcode, Git, debugging, unit testing, and code reviews.
- Experience with iOS app signing, certificates, provisioning profiles, TestFlight, and App Store deployments.
