Role Description The PLC Programmer will be responsible for designing, programming, testing, and commissioning PLC-based automation systems for industrial applications. This full-time, in office role in Chennai includes developing control logic, configuring hardware, and collaborating with electrical and mechanical teams to integrate automation solutions. Day-to-day tasks involve troubleshooting PLC programs, modifying logic based on client requirements, and ensuring systems operate safely and efficiently.

The role also includes preparing technical documentation, supporting maintenance teams, and providing on-site support during installation and upgrades. The PLC Programmer will work closely with project engineers, vendors, and clients to meet deadlines and maintain high standards of quality and compliance.





Qualifications

- Strong knowledge of PLC programming (e.g., ladder logic, function blocks) and experience with major PLC platforms (such as Siemens, Allen-Bradley, Delta).
- 5 to 8 years of experience in PLC programming.
- Experience in industrial automation, control systems design, and integration with field devices (sensors, actuators, drives, HMIs).
- Fixtures Installation & PLC Troubleshooting
- Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, P&IDs;, and technical schematics, and coordinate with electrical and mechanical engineering teams.
- Proficiency in troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, and optimizing PLC programs for performance, reliability, and safety.
- Familiarity with communication protocols (e.g., Modbus, Profibus, Ethernet/IP) and basic networking concepts for industrial environments.
- Strong documentation and reporting skills, including preparing test plans, commissioning reports, and user manuals.
- Relevant technical diploma or degree in Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation, or Automation Engineering (or equivalent practical experience).
- Ability to work on-site in Devanahalli, Bangalore, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, and manage tasks independently under project timelines.
