The Senior Engineer Planning is responsible for preparing, monitoring, and controlling project schedules to ensure timely execution of construction projects. The role involves resource planning, progress tracking, cost monitoring, and coordination with project teams to achieve contractual milestones and optimize efficiency.

Qualifications & Experience

- Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering / Diploma / Construction Management.
- 10-15 years of experience in project planning and scheduling.
- Proficiency in Primavera P6, MS Project, and Excel.
- Robust knowledge of construction processes and contract management.

Key Responsibilities 1. Project Scheduling

- Develop and update project schedules using Primavera/MS Project.
- Align schedules with contractual milestones and deadlines.

2. Resource Planning

- Forecast and allocate manpower, materials, and equipment.




- Monitor resource utilization and highlight bottlenecks.
- Coordinate with procurement and HR for timely availability.

3. Progress Monitoring

- Track daily, weekly, and monthly progress against baseline schedules.
- Prepare progress reports, dashboards, and variance analyses.
- Highlight delays and propose corrective actions.

4. Cost & Budget Control

- Assist in preparing budget estimates and cash flow forecasts.
- Monitor expenditures against planned budgets.
- Identify opportunities for cost optimization.

5. Coordination & Communication

- Liaise with project managers, site engineers, and contractors.
- Conduct review meetings to discuss progress and risks.
- Provide technical clarifications related to planning and scheduling.
