Role Description The Placement Manager (Ranchi) will be responsible for overseeing campus placement activities for students, ensuring strong engagement with industry partners and employers. This full-time, on-site role is based in Kolkata and includes coordinating placement drives, internships, and career fairs in alignment with institutional goals.

The Placement

Manager will build and maintain relationships with corporate recruiters, identify new placement opportunities, and promote Amity students to prospective employers. Day-to-day tasks include advising students on career pathways, conducting employability workshops, managing placement-related data and reports, and collaborating with academic departments to align curricula with market needs. The role also involves representing the university in external forums, ensuring professional conduct in all placement processes, and continuously improving placement strategies and outcomes.

- Experience in placement coordination, career services, or corporate recruitment, preferably in an academic or training setting.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, including the ability to conduct workshops, briefings, and employer interactions.
- Sound organizational and planning abilities, with competency in managing events, schedules, and placement databases.
- Capability to analyze placement trends, prepare reports, and use data to improve strategies and student outcomes.
- Proficiency with standard office productivity tools and basic digital platforms used for recruitment and campus placements.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Management, Human Resources, Education, or a related discipline.
- Demonstrated commitment to student development, ethical practices, and inclusion in career and placement processes.
