Physical Science Teacher – Middle School

Roles and Responsibilities

- Teach Physical Science concepts such as Physics, Chemistry, Matter, Force, Energy, Light, Sound, Heat, Motion, Electricity, Magnetism, and basic scientific principles to middle school students.

- Prepare and deliver age-appropriate lesson plans aligned with the school curriculum and learning objectives.

- Explain complex scientific concepts in a easy, clear, and engaging manner using real-life examples.

- Conduct science experiments, demonstrations, practical activities, and laboratory sessions safely and effectively.

- Encourage students to develop scientific thinking, curiosity, observation, reasoning, and problem-solving skills.

- Use teaching aids such as models, charts, simulations, videos, digital tools, and interactive activities to enhance learning.

- Assess students through classwork, assignments, worksheets, quizzes, tests, projects, and practical activities.

- Monitor and evaluate individual student progress and provide timely feedback and academic support.

- Identify students who require additional support and provide remedial teaching or enrichment activities.

- Maintain proper lesson plans, attendance, assessment records, practical records, and student progress reports.

- Maintain a positive, inclusive, and well-disciplined classroom environment that encourages students to ask questions and participate actively.

- Ensure proper laboratory safety procedures, including safe handling of equipment and materials.

- Organize science projects, exhibitions, science fairs, quizzes, and subject-related activities.





- Integrate STEM-based and hands-on learning approaches wherever appropriate.

- Communicate students' academic progress and learning needs with parents, teachers, and school management.

- Collaborate with other subject teachers to support interdisciplinary learning and school-wide academic activities.

- Participate in staff meetings, training programmes, workshops, school events, and professional development activities.

Qualification & Experience:

- Bachelor’s degree in Physics, Chemistry, Physical Science, or a related subject.

- B.Ed. or equivalent teacher-training qualification is preferred/required.

- Minimum 2 years of teaching experience, preferably in a middle school or CBSE school environment.

- Strong subject knowledge and the ability to explain scientific concepts clearly and practically.

- Experience in conducting laboratory experiments, science projects, and activity-based learning.

- Good English communication, classroom management, and student-handling skills.

- Proficiency in using digital teaching tools, presentations, and educational technology.

- Ability to assess student learning, provide constructive feedback, and support students with different learning needs.

- Stay updated with current teaching methodologies, curriculum developments, and innovative approaches to science education.

- Perform other academic and school-related responsibilities assigned by the school management.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
