Role Description The Photography Assistant role at My Almari is a full-time, on-site position based in Mumbai.

The Photography

Assistant will support product and campaign shoots by preparing items, assisting with studio setup, and managing lighting and camera equipment. This role includes helping capture high-quality images of products, organizing and tagging photos, and coordinating with stylists, photographers, and other team members to ensure smooth shoot execution.

Assistant will also assist with basic image review, communicating any issues or retakes needed, and maintaining an organized, safe, and efficient studio workplace.

Qualifications





- Candidates should be comfortable assisting photographers during product and fashion photoshoots, including setting up products, organizing inventory, and supporting day-to-day studio operations.
- Candidates should be willing to perform hands-on product preparation tasks such as ironing/steaming garments, stuffing handbags to maintain shape, cleaning products, and ensuring items are presentation-ready.
- Candidates should be organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to handle products carefully and maintain studio efficiency.
- Candidates should possess good communication skills and be able to coordinate effectively with photographers, stylists, warehouse staff, and other team members.
- Candidates should be comfortable handling physical aspects of the role, including standing for extended periods, moving products, organizing inventory, and setting up or packing equipment when required.
- Previous experience in photography studios, fashion, e-commerce, retail, warehouse operations, or similar hands-on roles is preferred but not mandatory.
- Candidates must be willing to work on-site in Mumbai and perform both photography assistance and general studio support responsibilities as required.
