Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Pharmacist role based in Khalilabad. The Pharmacist will be responsible for dispensing medications accurately according to prescriptions, verifying dosages, and ensuring compliance with regulatory and hospital policies. Day-to-day tasks include counseling patients on proper medication use, potential side effects, and storage requirements, as well as answering medication-related questions from clinical staff.

The role also involves maintaining pharmacy inventory, checking expiry dates, and ensuring secure storage of medicines and controlled substances.



The Pharmacist will collaborate with physicians and nurses to support safe prescribing practices, participate in medication reconciliation, and contribute to quality and safety initiatives within the hospital.

Qualifications

- Recognized degree or diploma in Pharmacy from an accredited institution and valid registration with the relevant pharmacy council.
- Knowledge of pharmacology, drug interactions, dosage calculations, and hospital pharmacy procedures.
- Ability to accurately interpret prescriptions, maintain detailed records, and adhere to regulatory and safety standards.
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to manage inventory and documentation efficiently.
- Effective communication skills to counsel patients and collaborate with multidisciplinary clinical teams.
- Commitment to ethical practice, patient confidentiality, and high standards of patient care.
- Prior experience in a hospital or clinical pharmacy setting is preferred but not mandatory; willingness to work in shifts as required.
- Basic computer skills for using hospital information systems and electronic medical records.
