A. Prescription Handling

· Accurately interpret and dispense medications as per the doctor’s prescription.

· Check dosage, strength, and formulation before dispensing.

Identify possible drug interactions or contraindications and inform the doctor if required.

B. Patient Counseling

· Explain the correct usage, dosage, and precautions of medicines to patients.

· Provide information on storage, side effects, and follow-up if needed.

· Maintain polite and patient-friendly communication.

C. Inventory & Stock Management

· Maintain adequate stock of medicines, consumables, and emergency drugs.

· Monitor expiry dates, batch numbers, and return near-expiry items as per policy.

· Conduct regular stock audits and maintain inventory records in system/register.

D. Procurement & Vendor Coordination

· Prepare purchase orders for medicines and consumables

· Coordinate with suppliers/vendors for timely delivery.

· Verify invoices, GRN, and maintain accurate documentation

E. Dispensing & Billing

· Ensure proper billing of medicines through software or manual system

· Maintain cash handling, daily sales reporting, and reconciliation

· Ensure correct MRP and pricing as per hospital norms.





F. Regulatory Compliance

· Maintain pharmacy as per Drug & Cosmetic Act guidelines.

· Ensure proper documentation: purchase register, sales register, narcotics register, temperature logs.

· Assist in inspection, audit, and compliance checks.

G. Storage & Safety

· Maintain proper storage conditions for medicines (temperature-controlled, segregation).

· Ensure controlled drugs are stored in locked and restricted access cabinets.

· Keep pharmacy clean, organized, and infection-free.

H. Coordination

· Coordinate with doctors, nurses, and billing team for smooth workflow.

· Handle emergency requirements during critical patient cases.

· Attend training and meetings as scheduled.

Skills & Competencies

· Strong knowledge of medicines, dosages, and interactions

· Good communication and patient-handling skills.

· Computer proficiency (billing software, Excel, email).

· Attention to detail and accuracy.

· Ability to work in quick-paced environment.

Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
