Job Summary

We are looking for a passionate and experienced PGT Physics Teacher to join our CBSE school. The candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging and concept-based Physics lessons, preparing students for board examinations, conducting practical sessions, and supporting the overall academic development of students.

Key Responsibilities

- Plan and deliver effective Physics lessons aligned with the CBSE curriculum and learning outcomes.
- Teach Physics for Classes XI and XII and support students in achieving strong academic results.
- Prepare lesson plans, worksheets, question papers, assignments, and other learning resources.
- Conduct Physics laboratory sessions and ensure students understand practical applications of concepts.
- Use innovative and student-centric teaching methodologies, including experiments, demonstrations, simulations, and technology-enabled learning.
- Assess student learning through periodic tests, assignments, projects, practicals, and examinations.
- Analyse student performance and provide appropriate academic support and remedial teaching.
- Prepare students effectively for CBSE Board Examinations and competitive examinations, wherever applicable.
- Maintain accurate academic records, student performance data, and assessment reports.
- Encourage critical thinking, problem-solving, scientific inquiry, and application-based learning.
- Participate in parent-teacher meetings and communicate students' academic progress effectively.
- Collaborate with the Academic Coordinator, HOD, and other faculty members for academic planning and improvement.
- Participate in school events, academic activities, workshops, professional development programmes, and other responsibilities assigned by the school management.




- Maintain discipline and create a positive, inclusive, and engaging classroom environment.

Required Skills & Competencies

- Strong subject knowledge in Physics.
- Good understanding of the CBSE curriculum and examination pattern.
- Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
- Ability to explain complex Physics concepts in a straightforward and practical manner.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and assessment skills.
- Proficiency in using smart boards, digital teaching tools, simulations, and educational technology.
- Ability to develop engaging teaching-learning resources.
- Student-centric approach with a focus on academic excellence and holistic development.
- Strong teamwork, interpersonal, and organisational skills.

Preferred Profile

- Experience teaching CBSE Classes XI & XII.
- Experience in handling Physics practicals and laboratory activities.
- Experience in preparing students for CBSE Board Examinations.
- Exposure to NEET/JEE-oriented Physics teaching will be an added advantage.
- Candidates with a consistent academic record and demonstrated student outcomes will be preferred.
