About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated, passionate, and result-oriented PGT Economics Teacher to join our faculty at Sikandarpur. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching Macroeconomics, Microeconomics, Indian Economic Development, and Statistics to Senior Secondary students (Grades 11 & 12). You will play a pivotal role in simplifying complex economic concepts, preparing students for board examinations, and fostering critical thinking skills.

Key Responsibilities

- Curriculum Delivery: Design, prepare, and deliver engaging lesson plans in alignment with the prescribed board curriculum (CBSE/ICSE/State Board).
- Board Exam Preparation: Conduct regular revision sessions, mock exams, and past-paper analysis to ensure high academic performance in Grade 12 board examinations.
- Assessment & Evaluation: Prepare question papers, grade assignments, evaluate answer scripts, and maintain accurate academic records for each student.
- Classroom Management: Maintain a disciplined, interactive, and inclusive learning environment that encourages active student participation.
- Parent Engagement: Participate in Parent-Teacher Meetings (PTMs)



to provide constructive feedback on student progress, attendance, and behavioral development.
- Academic & Co-curricular Support: Assist in school events, academic fairs, inter-school competitions, and departmental meetings as required.

Required Qualifications & Skills

- Education:
- Master’s Degree in Economics (M.A. / M.Sc.) from a recognized university.
- B.Ed. (Bachelor of Education) degree is strictly mandatory.
- Experience: Minimum 1 year of proven experience teaching Economics at the PGT/Senior Secondary level in a recognized school.
- Subject Expertise: In-depth knowledge of Microeconomics, Macroeconomics, Statistics, and current Indian economic developments.
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills in English; ability to present concepts clearly and confidently.
- Pedagogical Skills: Proficiency in using up-to-date teaching aids, smart boards, and digital classroom tools.
