- Perform PCB coating/conformal coating as per defined process specifications and work instructions.
- Handle PCB coating machines, spray systems, or manual coating equipment.
- Ensure proper coating thickness, coverage, curing, and quality of PCBs.
- Perform masking and demasking of components/areas before and after coating.
- Inspect coated PCBs for defects such as uneven coating, bubbles, contamination, peeling, or missed areas.
- Follow ESD, safety, and workplace guidelines while handling electronic assemblies.
- Maintain process parameters, production records, and inspection reports.
- Coordinate with Production, Quality, and Maintenance teams for process-related issues.
- Carry out rework or touch-up activities wherever required.
- Maintain cleanliness of the coating area, tools, and equipment.
- Follow 5S, ESD, safety, and quality standards throughout the production process.
Required Skills
- Minimum 1 year of experience in PCB coating/conformal coating in an EMS or electronics manufacturing environment.
- Basic knowledge of PCB assembly and electronic components.
- Knowledge of coating materials, application methods, and curing processes.
- Ability to identify common coating-related defects.
- Good understanding of ESD and PCB handling practices.
- Basic documentation and production-recording skills.
- Ability to work in a production setting and meet daily targets.
