Summary:

Payment Investigation Team Lead is a operational supervisor who manages a group of financial investigators responsible for tracking, analyzing, and resolving payment discrepancies, failed transfers, or suspicious transaction patterns.

Key Skills:

- Minimum 7 years of overall experience, with at least 3 years of hands-on experience in Payment Investigation.
- Experience in managing a team of 30-40 FTEs.
- Any Graduate

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead and manage a team of 3040 FTEs handling Payment Investigation activities.
- Oversee day-to-day payment investigation and exception management processes.
- Ensure timely and accurate resolution of payment-related issues, discrepancies, and escalations.




- Monitor team performance against defined SLAs, KPIs, quality, and productivity targets.
- Manage communication and relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Handle client-facing interactions, escalations, and regular performance discussions.
- Drive people management, including coaching, performance management, feedback, and team development.
- Identify process gaps and implement process improvement initiatives to improve efficiency and quality.
- Prepare and review MIS, operational reports, and performance dashboards for stakeholders and clients.
- Ensure adherence to process guidelines, controls, and compliance requirements.
- Coordinate with relevant teams to resolve complex payment investigation cases and operational issues.
- Conduct regular team meetings, performance reviews, and knowledge-sharing sessions.
