About Hexstar Universe

Hexstar Universe is a space-tech and STEM education startup developing innovative CubeSat kits, CanSat systems, satellite hardware, and hands-on aerospace learning solutions. We are looking for a skilled and passionate electronics engineer to join our hardware development team.

Key Responsibilities

- PCB Design & Schematics: Develop circuit schematics, PCB layouts, and production-ready designs using KiCad, Altium Designer, or EasyEDA.
- PCB Assembly: Perform SMD and through-hole soldering, component assembly, PCB rework, and prototype development.
- PCB Testing & Debugging: Test assembled PCBs, identify circuit faults, troubleshoot hardware failures, and ensure product reliability.
- Hardware Integration: Integrate microcontrollers, sensors, GPS, LoRa communication modules, and power management systems.
- Prototyping: Develop and validate hardware prototypes for CubeSat, CanSat, and other embedded systems.
- Technical Documentation: Prepare BOMs, Gerber files, circuit diagrams, assembly instructions, and testing reports.

Required Skills




- Strong understanding of electronic circuits, PCB design, and schematic development.
- Hands-on experience in PCB assembly, soldering, testing, and troubleshooting.
- Familiarity with Arduino, ESP32, STM32, and embedded hardware.
- Experience using multimeters, oscilloscopes, and other electronic testing equipment.
- Knowledge of UART, SPI, and I2C communication protocols.
- Ability to read component datasheets and troubleshoot circuits independently.

Qualifications
- B.Tech, B.E., or Diploma in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, ECE, or a related field.
- Freshers with solid practical skills and relevant hardware projects are encouraged to apply.
- Previous experience in PCB development and embedded systems is an advantage.
