Role Description The Partner – Project Finance role is a full-time, on-site position based in Surat, responsible for leading project finance mandates across sectors. The Partner will originate and structure project finance transactions, including greenfield and brownfield projects, and oversee end-to-end execution from feasibility assessment to financial closure.

Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting detailed financial analysis and modeling, evaluating project viability, preparing investment memoranda and lender presentations, and managing due diligence processes. The role involves building and maintaining relationships with banks, financial institutions, private credit providers, and strategic investors,



while negotiating term sheets and key financing terms. The Partner will collaborate closely with promoters and internal teams, provide strategic financing advice, monitor market trends and regulatory developments, and contribute to the firm’s business development and thought leadership in project and infrastructure finance.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong Analytical Skills, including the ability to interpret complex data, evaluate project risks, and support sound decision-making.
- Candidates should possess solid Finance knowledge, with a deep understanding of project finance structures, capital markets, and debt instruments.
- Candidates should possess advanced Financial Modeling and Financial Analysis skills to build robust models, assess cash flows, and test various scenarios.
- Candidates should possess Budgeting capabilities to help structure project budgets, track variances, and ensure financial discipline across project lifecycles.
- Relevant experience (typically 10+ years) in investment banking, project finance, corporate finance, or infrastructure finance, with a track record of closed transactions.
- Qualified qualifications such as CA, CFA, MBA (Finance), or equivalent from a recognized institution are highly beneficial.
- Strong negotiation, stakeholder management, and communication skills, with the ability to engage promoters, lenders, and advisors effectively.
- High level of integrity, ownership mindset, and ability to work in a fast-paced, execution-focused environment.
