ARK Learning Arena is a faith-rooted tuition and coaching centre in St. Thomas Mount, Chennai, serving students from Classes 1–12 across CBSE, ICSE, and State Board curricula. We focus on concept clarity, personal attention, and consistent academic results.

Role Overview

We are looking for a dedicated and passionate teacher to handle Economics, Commerce, and Accountancy for higher secondary students (Classes 11 & 12) in our evening batches.

Key Responsibilities

- Teach Economics, Commerce, and Accountancy to Class 11 and 12 students (CBSE / ICSE / State Board)
- Explain concepts clearly and solve problems, especially in Accountancy (journal entries, ledgers, final accounts, partnership, company accounts, etc.)
- Conduct regular tests, revision sessions, and board exam preparation
- Track student progress and share daily/weekly updates with the management
- Maintain discipline and a positive learning environment in the classroom
- Coordinate with parents when required

Requirements

- Graduate / Post-graduate in Commerce, Economics, or related field (B.Com / M.Com / BA / MA Economics / MBA Finance)
- B.Ed.



preferred but not mandatory
- Prior teaching or tuition experience preferred; freshers with robust subject knowledge are welcome
- Good communication skills in English and Tamil
- Punctual, patient, and committed to student success
- Able to commit to Monday–Saturday evening timings
