Role : Panel Wiring Technician – Industrial Automation & Machine Assembly

LOCATION : Vadodara, Gujarat

REPORTING TO : Production Manager/Service Manager

Job Overview

We are seeking a energetic young Panel Wiring Technician – Industrial Automation & Machine Assembly or with 2-5 years of hands-on experience in the machine manufacturing industry. The ideal candidate will be responsible for panel wiring, testing, machine assembly, trials, fitment, and installation of machinery both within India and abroad. This role demands strong technical skills, problem-solving abilities, and the willingness to travel to customer sites for installation and commissioning.

Key Responsibilities

Currently, we have a requirement for a Panel Wiring Technician / Electrical & Automation Technician with strong hands-on experience in Industrial Machine Panel Wiring and Automation.

For this role, strong practical hands-on knowledge is required:

- ✔Read and understand Electrical / Panel Wiring Drawings and wire panels accordingly
- ✔Practical experience in wire stripping, ferruling, crimping, lugging, termination, wire dressing and tagging
- ✔PLC wiring – Digital Input/Output, 24VDC control wiring, relays, sensors and actuators
- ✔VFD / Servo / Stepper wiring, including power, motor, control and signal connections
- ✔Basic knowledge of VFD/Servo parameter setting, direction, speed, acceleration/deceleration and basic tuning
- Wiring and troubleshooting of Proximity, Limit, Photoelectric, Pressure, Temperature and other sensors




- ✔Understanding of 0–10V and 4–20mA signals, Load Cell and analog signal wiring
- ✔ Perform point-to-point / pin-to-pin wiring checking from PLC to VFD, Servo, Sensors, Motors and other outputs
- ✔Use Multimeter / Clamp Meter for AC/DC voltage, current, continuity, resistance and basic fault finding
- ✔ Check single-phase and three-phase supply, motor connections, phase/neutral/earth and control voltage
- ✔ Practical knowledge of machine fitting, mechanical assembly, shaft & bearing alignment, drilling, tapping and basic machine modification
- ✔ Participate in machine testing, troubleshooting, installation and commissioning
- ✔ Assist in final QC/PDI, machine packing and dispatch as required

Simply knowing electrical wiring or having an ITI/Diploma qualification is not enough. Practical experience in industrial machine panel wiring, PLC/VFD/Servo wiring, testing and troubleshooting is essential.

Candidates who can independently handle Panel Wiring → Machine Wiring → Electrical Testing → Point-to-Point Checking → Troubleshooting → Machine Testing will be preferred.

Preferred Qualifications

- Education: Diploma/Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- Software Skills: Knowledge of PLC programming and basic automation software is a plus.
