Oracle Cloud WMS Functional Consultant

Summary

We are seeking an experienced Oracle Cloud WMS Functional Consultant to lead the design, implementation, and optimization of warehouse management solutions within the IT Services sector. In this pivotal role, the successful candidate will bridge the gap between business requirements and technical execution, ensuring seamless integration of warehouse operations with broader supply chain strategies. This position is critical for driving efficiency, accuracy, and scalability in inventory and order fulfillment processes, directly impacting the organization's operational excellence and customer satisfaction levels.

Responsibilities

- Lead end-to-end functional configuration and customization of Oracle Cloud Warehouse Management (WMS) modules to align with specific client business processes.
- Develop comprehensive functional specifications, technical design documents, and solution blueprints for complex warehouse scenarios.
- Manage the full lifecycle of User Acceptance Testing (UAT), including test planning, execution, defect tracking, and validation of system deliverables.
- Facilitate seamless integration between Oracle Cloud WMS and external systems by authoring detailed integration documentation and data mapping specifications.




- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze business needs and translate them into actionable system requirements for Oracle Supply Chain Management (SCM).
- Provide expert guidance on Oracle Inventory Management and Order Management best practices to optimize stock levels and order processing workflows.
- Support post-go-live activities, including user training, knowledge transfer, and ongoing system support to ensure high adoption rates.

Requirements

Requirements:

- Minimum of 7 years of total professional experience, with at least 5 years dedicated specifically to Oracle Cloud WMS implementations.
- Proven expertise in Oracle Cloud SCM, with a robust focus on Inventory Management, Order Management, and Supply Chain Execution modules.
- Demonstrated proficiency in configuring Oracle Cloud WMS environments and tailoring solutions to meet unique operational demands.
- Strong capability in drafting functional specifications and creating detailed integration documentation for complex system landscapes.
- Extensive experience in leading UAT cycles, including test planning, scenario creation, and issue resolution.
- Deep understanding of warehouse logistics principles and how they translate into functional system requirements.
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment, communicating technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
