Position: Optometrist / Ophthalmic Assistant

Number of Positions: 2

Location: Begumpet, Hyderabad

Experience: 2–3 years in a relevant field

Qualification: Diploma in Ophthalmic Assistance / Optometry or equivalent

Employment Type: Full-time

Joining: Immediate joiners preferred

Key Responsibilities

- Conduct visual acuity and refraction tests.
- Perform preliminary eye examinations as per clinic protocols.
- Assist ophthalmologists during patient consultations.
- Explain optical products and prescriptions to patients.
- Handle optical sales and dispensing.
- Maintain accurate patient and examination records.
- Ensure a positive and professional patient experience.
- Coordinate effectively with clinical and optical teams.

Candidate Requirements




- Strong practical knowledge of refraction.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Patient-friendly and skilled approach.
- Sales-oriented with willingness to achieve optical sales targets.
- Ability to work efficiently in a busy eye-care environment.
- Relevant experience in an eye clinic, hospital, or optical setup is preferred.
