Roles and Responsibilities
- Conduct eye exams to diagnose vision problems and prescribe corrective lenses or other treatments as needed.
- Dispense glasses, contact lenses, or other optical products based on patient prescriptions.
- Perform refractions to determine the correct lens power for each patient's eyes.
- Maintain accurate records of patient examinations, including test results and treatment plans.
- Collaborate with ophthalmologists when complex cases require specialized care.
