About the Role

We are looking for a Regional Operations Manager with a strong background in logistics, transportation, fleet operations or the automotive/OEM ecosystem to take ownership of fleet and regional operations across multiple locations. The role will involve managing field teams, fleet performance, customers, vendors and operational partners while ensuring smooth, reliable and cost-efficient execution.

The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in logistics operations, fleet management, transportation, commercial vehicle operations or OEM/dealer/service network operations, along with solid people-management, problem-solving and stakeholder-management skills.

Key Responsibilities

Regional Operations

- Own end-to-end operations for the assigned region.
- Ensure smooth and efficient deployment and utilization of the fleet.
- Monitor daily operations, vehicle availability, trip execution and operational performance.
- Identify bottlenecks and drive corrective actions.
- Ensure operational targets and SLAs are consistently achieved.
- Develop and implement SOPs and processes to improve operational efficiency.

Fleet Management

- Monitor fleet utilization, uptime, downtime and vehicle productivity.
- Coordinate with technical and maintenance teams to minimize vehicle downtime.
- Track vehicle deployment, breakdowns, servicing and repairs.
- Work closely with charging and energy teams to ensure vehicle availability and operational continuity.
- Analyze fleet performance and identify opportunities for improvement.

People & Team Management





- Manage and develop regional operations teams and field personnel.
- Set clear targets and KPIs for team members.
- Conduct regular performance reviews and provide feedback.
- Build a strong culture of ownership, accountability and execution.
- Support hiring and onboarding of operational staff as the region scales.

Customer & Stakeholder Management

- Act as a key operational point of contact for customers.
- Handle customer escalations and ensure timely resolution.
- Coordinate with OEMs, vendors, fleet partners, charging partners and other external stakeholders.
- Build strong relationships with customers and operational partners.
- Ensure contractual operational commitments and SLAs are met.

Data & Performance Management

- Track and analyze key operational KPIs.
- Prepare regular regional performance reports and MIS.
- Monitor fleet utilization, vehicle uptime, trips per vehicle, TAT, loading/unloading time, transit time, downtime, cost per trip and customer SLA adherence.
- Use data to identify operational gaps and drive improvements.

Cost & Process Optimization

- Identify opportunities to reduce operational costs.
- Improve vehicle productivity and resource utilization.
- Monitor operational expenses and ensure effective cost control.
- Develop scalable processes as the regional fleet grows.

Cross-Functional Coordination Work closely with Central Operations, Technical & Maintenance, Charging & Energy, Finance, HR, Commercial,



Customer Success, Fleet teams, OEMs and external partners to ensure seamless execution.

Preferred Background: Logistics / Fleet Operator / Transportation / Commercial Vehicle OEM / Dealer / Service Network

Candidate Profile

- 35 years of experience in logistics, transportation, fleet operations, commercial vehicle operations, automotive/OEM operations or related fields.
- Experience managing field operations, fleet teams, drivers, service teams, or other operational personnel.
- Experience managing multiple locations, hubs, fleet operations, service/dealer networks, workshops or operational sites.
- Strong understanding of operational KPIs and performance management.
- Strong customer and stakeholder-management skills.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
- Good working knowledge of MS Excel / Google Sheets and operational MIS.
- Comfortable with frequent field visits and travel.
- Candidates from logistics companies, fleet operators, transportation companies, commercial vehicle OEMs, dealerships, service networks or automotive companies are preferred.
