Role Description The Operations Manager at Prime Bakes will oversee daily bakery operations to ensure smooth production, inventory management, and timely order fulfillment. This full-time, on-site role in Assam, India includes coordinating staff schedules, supervising kitchen and front-of-house teams, and maintaining hygiene and safety standards.

Manager will monitor quality control, track performance metrics, and implement process improvements to optimize efficiency and reduce waste. The role also involves collaborating with leadership on demand planning, vendor management, and cost control, while supporting customer service teams to uphold brand standards.

Qualifications

- Strong operations management skills, including process optimization, inventory control, and workflow planning.
- Experience supervising teams, with the ability to delegate tasks, coach staff, and foster a collaborative work culture.
- Knowledge of food safety, hygiene regulations, and quality assurance practices relevant to bakery or food service operations.
- Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to work with cross-functional teams and interact with customers and suppliers.
- Proficiency in using basic business software and tools (e.g., spreadsheets, inventory or POS systems) to track performance and report results.
- Prior experience in hospitality, food service, or retail operations is highly beneficial; bakery experience is an advantage.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Operations Management, Business Administration, Hospitality, or a related field.
- Ability to work on-site in Assam, India, with flexibility to cover peak periods, weekends, and holidays as needed.
