About the Role

Shahnaz Bright Steel Industries Pvt. Ltd. is looking for an experienced and result-oriented Operations Manager to manage and coordinate the day-to-day operations of our steel manufacturing unit.

The candidate will be responsible for coordinating Production, Stores, Purchase, Sales & Dispatch, Quality, and other departments to ensure smooth operations, timely production, productive material utilization, and on-time customer delivery.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage and monitor overall day-to-day manufacturing operations.
- Plan and monitor production activities to achieve daily and monthly targets.
- Coordinate with Production, Stores, Purchase, Sales & Dispatch teams.
- Ensure timely availability of raw materials, consumables, and production requirements.
- Monitor production schedules and ensure timely completion of customer orders.
- Coordinate with Sales & Dispatch teams for on-time delivery.
- Monitor manpower utilization and operational productivity.
- Identify operational issues and take appropriate corrective actions.
- Control material wastage, operational costs, and production delays.
- Coordinate with maintenance teams to reduce machine breakdowns and downtime.
- Monitor inventory and coordinate with Stores and Purchase departments.




- Conduct regular operational review meetings with department heads.
- Prepare and review daily, weekly, and monthly operational reports.
- Ensure compliance with company SOPs, safety procedures, quality standards, and workplace discipline.
- Drive continuous improvement in productivity, efficiency, and operational processes.
- Report important operational matters and performance updates to the Management.

Required Qualifications
- Any Degree / Diploma / Engineering qualification preferred.
- 5–6 years of relevant experience in manufacturing operations.
- Experience in Steel / Bright Bar / Engineering Manufacturing will be preferred.
- Strong knowledge of production and manufacturing processes.
- Positive understanding of Stores, Purchase, Sales & Dispatch coordination.
- Strong leadership and team-management skills.
- Good communication, planning, and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, ERP/software, and operational reporting.
