Role Description The Oil &

- Gas Faculty role is a full-time, in office position based at the Kochi campus. The faculty member will plan and deliver lectures, practical sessions, and workshops on core Oil &
- Gas topics such as exploration, production, refinery operations, pipelines, health, safety and environment (HSE), and quality standards.

Responsibilities include developing and updating curriculum and lesson plans in line with current industry practices, preparing teaching materials and assessments, and evaluating student performance through assignments, exams, and project work. The role involves mentoring students on career paths in the Oil &
- Gas sector, guiding them on certifications,



and supporting placement activities through interview preparation and industry exposure. The faculty member will also participate in academic meetings, contribute to institutional quality initiatives, and engage with industry professionals to keep the program aligned with evolving technical and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

- Solid academic foundation in Oil &
- Gas, Petroleum Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related discipline, with relevant professional certifications preferred.
- Strong technical knowledge of Oil &
- Gas operations, including drilling, production, refinery processes, pipelines, safety standards, QA/QC, and applicable industry codes and regulations.
- Demonstrated experience in teaching, training, or corporate instruction, with the ability to design clear lesson plans, develop course materials, and assess learner performance effectively.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and classroom management skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly and engage diverse groups of learners.
- Experience working in the Oil &
- Gas industry or related sectors, with practical exposure to field operations, projects, or plant environments considered a strong advantage.
- Proficiency in using digital tools for teaching, including learning management systems, presentation software, and online resources to enhance classroom delivery.
- Commitment to student success, including mentoring, academic guidance, and support for placement readiness, interviews, and professional development.
