We are looking for a qualified Occupational Therapist who is passionate about working with children and enjoys being part of a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment.
What you’ll be doing
- Conduct occupational therapy assessments and develop individualised intervention plans.
- Provide one-to-one therapy for children with developmental, sensory, motor, behavioural and functional difficulties.
- Work on areas such as sensory processing, fine and gross motor skills, visual-motor integration, handwriting, activities of daily living, play and functional participation.
- Plan engaging,
purposeful therapy sessions based on each child’s strengths, needs and goals.
- Collaborate with Speech-Language Pathologists, Special Educators, Psychologists and other professionals involved in the child’s care.
- Communicate regularly with parents and caregivers and provide practical home-based recommendations.
- Maintain appropriate clinical documentation, progress notes and therapy records.
- Participate in case discussions, parent consultations, workshops and centre initiatives when required.
- Contribute to creating a warm, child-friendly and respectful therapeutic environment.
