We are looking for a qualified and experienced Nurse Technician to support nurses and healthcare professionals in providing basic patient care and maintaining a safe, clean, and efficient clinical environment. The successful candidate should have relevant nursing education and at least 1 year of experience as a Nurse Technician/Assistant after completion of the required registration/licensing process.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with basic wound care and dressing changes.
- Collect urine, stool, and sputum specimens for laboratory testing.
- Monitor patients and report changes in condition to the supervising nurse.
- Assist nurses with medication preparation as directed.
- Communicate with patients and families regarding basic care procedures.
- Maintain accurate patient care documentation.
- Restock medical and nursing supplies.
- Follow infection prevention and control procedures.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized patient-care environment.
Requirements
Candidates must have one of the following:
- 18 months to 2 years Nursing Diploma after completion of 12 years of high school education or equivalent; OR
- 3-year Nursing Diploma after completion of 9 years of general education from a recognized Technical Nursing School.
Experience:
- Minimum 1 year of experience as a Nurse Technician/Nurse Assistant after the required registration/licensing.
- Relevant hospital or healthcare facility experience preferred.
Other Requirements:
- Candidates should be willing to work 12-hour shifts, 6 days per week.
- Preferably 40 years of age or below.
- Positive communication skills and a patient-focused approach.
- Ability to work under the supervision and delegation of registered nursing staff.
