About the Role We are looking for a hands-on NPD / Business Development Engineer to lead automotive component projects end-to-end—from initial RFQ to Start of Production (SOP). You will drive tool/fixture design, sample development, and full APQP/PPAP execution for top-tier automotive clients.

Key Responsibilities

- Product Development & Feasibility: Analyze 3D data/drawings, prepare technical costing inputs, and lead proto sample developments.
- Tooling & Fixtures: Oversee design, manufacturing, and tryouts for Sheet Metal Dies (Progressive/Tandem/Draw), Welding Fixtures, Checking Gauges, and Tube Bending tooling.
- APQP & PPAP Documentation: Maintain end-to-end documentation including Feasibility Studies, PFMEA, Control Plans, Process Flow Diagrams, MSA, SPC,



and all 18 PPAP elements (PSW, Test Reports, etc.).
- Cross-Functional Execution: Collaborate with Quality, Tool Room, Purchase, and Production teams; lead ECN/4M changes and support customer audits/launches.

Key Requirements

- Core Technical Expertise: Hands-on experience with Sheet Metal Stamping, MIG/Spot Welding, and CNC Tube Bending.
- Standards & Documentation: Expertise in APQP, PPAP, GD&T;, and IATF 16949 QMS guidelines.
- CAD Proficiency: AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or CATIA.
- Bonus: Exposure to OEM / Tier-1 customers (e.g., Tata Motors, Mahindra, TACO).
