Night Duty Doctor for a quiet 6-bed inpatient ward at Harsha's Hospital, Madurai

Preparing for NEET PG or another exam and need steady pay without losing your study hours?

This night posting has no OP, no walk-ins and no casualty. You stay on the ward overnight for a few admitted patients, and most nights leave you long, uninterrupted time to read.

Shift: 8:00 PM to 7:30 AM

Schedule: 6 nights a week, 1 off (open to discussion)

Ward: 6 inpatient beds, primarily psychiatric cases, with occasional diabetic foot and post-operative cases

Salary: ₹20,000 to ₹25,000 per month, based on experience

What you'll do

- Take handover from the day team at 8 PM and review admitted patients
- Respond to nursing calls and manage any change in a patient's condition
- Write night notes and hand over to the morning team at 7:30 AM
- Escalate to the consultant on call when needed
