Network Architect / Technical Lead - Networks

Responsibilities

- Design and implement enterprise Azure networking solutions using Microsoft best practices.

- Architect Hub-Spoke, Virtual WAN, Landing Zone, and multi-region network architectures.

- Design and support hybrid connectivity solutions using ExpressRoute, VPN Gateway, VNET Peering, and Private Endpoints.

- Implement Azure network security solutions including Azure Firewall, NSGs, DDoS Protection, RBAC, and Zero Trust architecture.

- Design high availability and disaster recovery networking solutions.

- Lead Azure networking migrations, modernization initiatives, and cloud transformation projects.

- Automate network deployments using Terraform, PowerShell, Azure CLI, and Infrastructure as Code practices.

- Deploy and manage Network Virtual Appliances such as Palo Alto, Fortinet, Cisco, and SonicWall.

- Implement monitoring and operational visibility using Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Network Watcher.

- Prepare HLDs, LLDs, migration plans, and technical documentation.

- Provide technical leadership, mentor engineers, and participate in architecture reviews.

- Conduct customer workshops, design discussions, and presales activities.

Requirements

- 10-12 years of experience in Enterprise Networking and Infrastructure Solutions.

- 5-7 years of hands-on experience with Azure Networking.





- Experience designing and implementing enterprise-scale Azure network architectures.

- Solid experience with:

- Azure Virtual Networks (VNets), Subnets, VNET Peering

- Azure Firewall, Application Gateway, Front Door

- Azure Virtual WAN, VPN Gateway, ExpressRoute

- Azure Route Server, Bastion, NAT Gateway

- Private Endpoints, Private Link, Private DNS

- Strong networking knowledge in:

- TCP/IP, Routing & Switching

- BGP, OSPF, IPSec, GRE

- DNS, DHCP, VLANs, NAT

- Experience with Azure security and governance including RBAC, DDoS Protection, Firewall Policies, and Zero Trust.

- Experience with Palo Alto, Fortinet, Cisco, or SonicWall firewalls.

- Experience with Terraform, PowerShell, Azure CLI, ARM Templates, and Infrastructure as Code.

- Experience with Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, Network Watcher, and NSG Flow Logs.

- Proven experience leading customer-facing projects, architecture discussions, and technical workshops.

- Ability to plan, organize, and technically lead projects through successful completion.

Qualifications

- Bachelors degree in Information technology, Computer Science & Engineering, or related field.

- Microsoft Azure certifications such as Azure Solutions Architect Expert or Azure Network Engineer Associate or Azure Administrator Associate preferred.

- CCNA / CCNP certification or certifications from any firewall vendors are preferred.
