Role Description The Music Teacher will deliver engaging, structured music lessons to school students at the Torrins India partner schools in Gurugram. This full-time, in office role involves teaching instrument-specific and vocal classes, introducing and reinforcing music theory concepts, and guiding students through performance-based activities and assessments.

The Music





Teacher will plan lesson plans aligned with the Torrins curriculum, prepare students for recitals and events, and maintain a positive, inclusive classroom environment. The role includes collaborating with school staff and Torrins team members, providing feedback on student progress, and participating in training sessions to continuously improve teaching practices.

Qualifications

- Strong foundation in Music Theory and general Music knowledge, with the ability to explain concepts clearly to learners of varying skill levels.
- Demonstrated Music Performance skills, preferably on one or more instruments such as Piano, Guitar, or other commonly taught school instruments.
- Experience or formal training in Music Education, including lesson planning, classroom management, and student assessment.
- Proficiency in Piano as a teaching and demonstration instrument is highly beneficial.
- Ability to create an inclusive, encouraging, and learner-centered classroom environment.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills for working with students, school staff, and colleagues.
- Prior teaching experience in schools, academies, or private instruction is an advantage.
- Relevant certification or degree in Music, Music Education, or a related field is preferred.
